About Us

Yells Farm is based in Essington/Shareshill, adjacent to Hilton Park and was established in 1997. The family business is situated on a 200-acre estate within the beautiful South Staffordshire countryside, all of which is available for safe, off-road hacking. There are various tracks and trails to follow throughout woodland and hilly areas, where riders have the opportunity to admire breathtaking views stretching towards the Wrekin, Shropshire whilst they are enjoying safe, peaceful riding. 

The owners live on site; therefore enabling us to check the well being of horses day and night, this is our fundamental priority. We have a 24/7 monitored CCTV system, excellent stable/yard lighting, access to water and electricity, automatic field water troughs, tea/coffee making facilities, sickness paddock and a safe car park. There is also ample storage space for feed, hay etc… however, we do request that any valuable items are not stored here. There is also an excellent floodlit outdoor ménage that is available to use all year round. 

Horses are kept in small herds of around 6 and we allocate fields depending on compatability. Grassland is maintained to a high standard and we are usually able to offer Summer and Winter fields.

We are a small, friendly yard where clients can enjoy relaxing with their horses; we aim to keep it that way.
